The Paladin Podcast, Episode 4: Ted Murray

To help kick off the 2008 football season, we're pleased to present an interview with Ted Murray, author of the new Paladin Press title, The Inside Scoop on Football Betting.

Ted is a veteran analyst of the sports gambling industry who has worked as a football handicapper. Raised in a sports-minded family, Murray came to the realization the summer before his sophomore year in high school that his limited athletic abilities were only going to take him so far and that the only way to feed his great passion for athletics was through gambling. Betting on football not only kept him interested but allowed him to continue to be an “active participant” in the games. He has continued his football-betting studies for nearly 30 years.

To order The Inside Scoop on Football Betting by Ted Murray, as well as browse over 900 exciting books and DVDs, visit Paladin Press on the web at www.paladin-press.com.

The Paladin Podcast, Episode 1: Mark Hatmaker

We recently had the opportunity to chat with Mark Hatmaker, the author of the Paladin Press videos The Complete Grappler, The Complete Pugilist, Silent Partner, The Submission Encyclopedia, and Gladiator Conditioning, among several others. He’s been a student of western boxing and grappling for over 25 years, and is widely respected for his empirical, results-oriented approach to martial arts.

Mark was kind enough to give us his thoughts on how to efficiently train to be a good MMA fighter, proper diet, his approach to combat training, no-touch knockouts, and realistic self-defense, with a little bit of world politics thrown in. His latest video, Silent Partner, teaches how to use a throwing dummy for strength conditioning, cardio, and grappling technique. In January of 2009, Paladin Press will release his sequel to Gladiator Conditioning: an even more grueling, hard-core workout that’s not for the faint of heart.
