The Paladin Podcast, Episode 22: Jeff Hall

In Paladin Podcast Episode 22, we speak to Soke Jeff Hall about his law enforcement experiences, why he is considered a subject matter expert in aerial gunnery from helicopters, and the martial art he founded called Hojutsu Ryu: the martial art of shooting. Jeff has resurrected Hojutsu, which means “fire art” in Japanese, and modernized it for training with today’s firearms. Hojutsu Ryu is an intergrated combat shooting system that melds Jeff Cooper’s Modern Technique of the Pistol with a traditional Japanese martial arts training structure. His unique martial art is the subject of the new Paladin DVD and book set called Hojutsu Ryu.

Jeff served in the U.S. Army and later worked as an Alaskan State Trooper for 21 years. Jeff spent 12 years on the SWAT team and 19 years on the Alaska State pistol team. He finished his career as the academy commander for statewide training.

The Paladin Podcast, Episode 21: Pat Miletich

So you want to be a cage fighter? You want to learn what it takes to be successful in the cage or on the street? Then this podcast is for you. Champion cage fighter Pat Miletich speaks to us about what got him started in wrestling, how his wrestling background helped shape his professional fighting career, the development of his own training facility, and more.

In Pat’s new video with Paladin Press called Striking Strategies, Pat shows you what it takes to train hard, train right, and strike right through your opponent. Being a great striker is more than just being able to throw punches and kicks. Pat takes you through controlling distance in a fight; practical, fight-proven feints and fakes; proper head movement; and the appropriate footwork, all of which combine to make you the complete fighter you strive to be. Pat has been there and done that, and his Miletich Fighting System takes what works, trims what doesn't, and presents you with a proven strategy that you can feel confident using in the cage or on the street. When you can learn how to hit from Pat Miletich, why would you want to learn from anybody else?
